Machinery Privacy Policy

For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the software’s services when it’s utilized. “You” refers to you, as a user of the software’s services. The developer is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. This privacy policy is designed to help you understand how data is collected, used, and how secure that information you provide to us is. This policy statement would assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service. By utilizing this software, you accept all the terms stated in this Privacy Policy statement, and you consent to the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. Kindly note that this privacy policy is restricted only to Machinery software and the developer is not, and will not be liable to be held in account for the privacy practices of any third-party tools or services that may be contained in the software.
Permission and Access

For better and enhanced utilization of Machinery, the software is designed to request the provision of certain personally identifiable information. This permission needs to be enabled for the software to work properly on the device on which the software’s services are intended.

The permission is;

    INTERNET
    WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
    READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
    FOREGROUND_SERVICE

With the storage permission enabled, the app can;

    modify or delete the contents of your SD card for import/export.
    read the contents of your SD card for import/export.

The information that may be collected with these permissions are stored locally on the device and the developer has no access to that information. These permissions can be revoked when they are not needed. This is privacy to only devices running Android 6.0 upward.

Personal Data

The developer doesn’t collect personally identifiable data.

Usage Data

The developer doesn’t collect usage data.

Installation Data

The developer distributes this software via google play store where download counts are maintained. But, the developer has no knowledge or way to acquire knowledge about a user that has installed or is using this software.

Crash reports

The developer is unable to get crash reports automatically when the app crashes. If you encounter a bug that caused the app to crash, please report it to the developer. Machinery is a project under active development and the developer needs to get information when it doesn’t work, to make it work. If you encounter any error while using the software, please contact us. In a case where the app crashes, try to include logcats in your reports, when possible.

Service Providers

Machinery depends on the services of third-party libraries to facilitate its utilization, and to perform service-related services, or, to assist in analyzing how the services of the software are used. These third parties may have access to your Personal Data but are used only to perform some tasks on the developer’s behalf.

Transfer Of Data

With these third-party libraries contained in the software, your information, including personal data, may be transferred to computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Links To Other Sites

Machinery contains links to other services that are not directly operated by the developer. If you click on a third party library webpage or license URL, you will be directed to that third party’s site. The developer has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children’s policy

This software is intended for general use and has no restrictions on utilization by children except otherwise stated in a law governing that locale.

Security Of Data

There are no security risks that may likely occur while using Machinery. However, with the inclusion of third-party libraries, the developer cannot guarantee utmost security. Aside from that, it is also good to note that, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. The developer of Machinery assumes no responsibility for data integrity issues caused by using this application.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy statement is not final and is subject to changes at later times. This is done to accommodate changes in the software’s architecture due to further developments and that these changes may not align with several statements and policies stated in the document. With that stated, you are advised to check this policy statement occasionally for any changes that may have occurred. Changes to this policy become effective as soon as they are made. Also occasionally check policies of third-party software that is linked with Machinery.

Disclaimer

Machinery is developed in good faith to help end users inspect their Kubernetes Clusters. The software has an external dependency on third-party libraries that might collect some information when you utilize Machinery. This is not directly controlled by the developer, neither does the developer has oversight of the operations of those APIs. Hence, the developer assumes no responsibility for any losses and/or damages of data that are in connection with the use of this software.

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT „Machinery“

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTINUING WITH THIS PROGRAM INSTALL: OpenObjectives End-User License Agreement („EULA“) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and OpenObjectives. for the OpenObjectives software product(s) identified above which may include associated software components, media, printed materials, and „online“ or electronic documentation („SOFTWARE PRODUCT“). By installing, copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. This license agreement represents the entire agreement concerning the program between you and OpenObjectives, (referred to as „licenser“), and it supersedes any prior proposal, representation, or understanding between the parties. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as follows:
(a) Installation and Use.
OpenObjectives grants you the right to install and use copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on your computer running a validly licensed copy of the operating system for which the SOFTWARE PRODUCT was designed [e.g., Android].
(b) Backup Copies.
You may also make copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT as may be necessary for backup and archival purposes.

2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
(a) Maintenance of Copyright Notices.
You must not remove or alter any copyright notices on any and all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
(b) Distribution.
You may not distribute registered copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to third parties. Evaluation versions available for download from OpenObjectives’s websites or Google Playstore may be freely distributed.
(c) Prohibition on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
(d) Rental.
You may not rent, lease, or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
(e) Support Services.
OpenObjectives may provide you with support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT („Support Services“). Any supplemental software code provided to you as part of the Support Services shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA.
(f) Compliance with Applicable Laws.
You must comply with all applicable laws regarding use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

3. TERMINATION
Without prejudice to any other rights, OpenObjectives may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in your possession.

4. COPYRIGHT
All title, including but not limited to copyrights, in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any copies thereof are owned by OpenObjectives or its suppliers. All title and intellectual property rights in and to the content which may be accessed through use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT is the property of the respective content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright or other intellectual property laws and treaties. This EULA grants you no rights to use such content. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by OpenObjectives.

5. NO WARRANTIES
OpenObjectives expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is provided ‚As Is‘ without any express or implied warranty of any kind, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, noninfringement, or fitness of a particular purpose. OpenObjectives does not warrant or assume responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of any information, text, graphics, links or other items contained within the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. OpenObjectives makes no warranties respecting any harm that may be caused by the transmission of a computer virus, worm, time bomb, logic bomb, or other such computer program. OpenObjectives further expressly disclaims any warranty or representation to Authorized Users or to any third party.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall OpenObjectives be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, or lost information) rising out of ‚Authorized Users‘ use of or inability to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, even if OpenObjectives has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will OpenObjectives be liable for loss of data or for indirect, special, incidental, consequential (including lost profit), or other damages based in contract, tort or otherwise. OpenObjectives shall have no liability with respect to the content of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or any part thereof, including but not limited to errors or omissions contained therein, libel, infringements of rights of publicity, privacy, trademark rights, business interruption, personal injury, loss of privacy, moral rights or the disclosure of confidential information.
